Rehabilitation of a large 88-unit apartment complex built in 1944. A new community center with laundry was built for residents. Unit improvements included new cabinets, fixtures, finishes, vinyl windows, weatherization, and electrical and heating upgrades. Exterior work included new landscaping, benches and picnic tables, a sculptural outdoor art children's area, roof repairs, and paint.

1773 NE Junior (2002)
Extensive residential rehabilitation of a 1915 Craftsman house with four bedrooms/one bath. PCRI's first green building rehabilitation project included adding an upstairs half bath, new cabinets, fixtures, finishes, roof, paint, addressing lead hazards, insulation, vinyl windows, fencing, 80% efficiency furnace, new gas water heater, and native plants.

Child Care House I (2001)
5817 N Michigan
Extensive residential rehabilitation of a 1911 three bedroom/two bath house. This structure serves as a residence and place of business for an in-home child care provider. The rehabilitation included adding a child-sized half bath, new cabinets, fixtures, finishes, roof, paint, addressing lead hazards, insulation, vinyl windows, fencing, and landscaping/learning garden.
